International Standards on LMC as Stiffener

A useful article for the design of the pressure vessel reactor with external Limpet Coil.

It explores various international standards, namely, ASME VIII-1, PD-5500, EN 13445-3 and AD-2000 to allow the use of the spiral half-pipe coils (limpet coils) welded to the external surface of the shell as stiffeners against the external pressure.
